Carbonstone's lyricist/vocalist/guitarist Corey James is the only original founder of the band since it was formed back in early 2005. He began writing music at a very early age. Determined to make a career of his passion, he joined and formed many bands throughout the years. Excluding Carbonstone, He has toiled in countless musical projects spanning well over a decade. Corey has had many musical influences throughout his life mainly stemming from the nu-metal rock origins of late 90's to today. Like most musical artists, he writes his songs with complete and utter passion. Still fueld by agressive memories from his youth, each song is born with it's own sound, its own personality, and it's own life.
